The Town Council Offices are open 9.00 to 1.00 Monday to Friday

WARM SPACE - From 12th October until further notice, Verwood Town Council, 28 Vicarage Road, BH31 6DR will be opening the Council Chamber for a hot drink every Wednesday 10.30am-12.30pm

We are a small town in Dorset on the edge of the New Forest and close to Bournemouth and Poole. We are happy to be able to live in a community in which people greet and watch out for each other.

A Growing Town

There has been a parish or Town Council in Verwood since 1894 when it had a population of 1,190. By 1931, the population had grown to 1,605 and by 2010, it was over 14,000.

Verwood Town Council, the elected body of the Town, consists of eighteen members representing the Civil Parish. The Town boundary includes Verwood and Three Legged Cross.
