Welcome to Verwood Town Council

We welcome you to Verwood’s website. This website seeks to inform its residents and others about ongoing projects and events in Verwood and also serves as a database and reference resource for information on our town.

Town Council Offices are open Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm

Our New Mayor Cllr Simon Gibson

It is an honour and a privilege to have been elected as Mayor of  Verwood and Three Legged Cross for the forthcoming Council year.  My wife, Sarah and I, are very grateful for the warm welcome that we have received at events.  I would also like to pay tribute to our previous Mayor Cllr Matthew Parker for his hard work over the past two years.
To be able to start the term with the Jubilee was a joy.  The events across the town were fantastic and there was a wonderful display of community spirit.
I have decided to establish a Mayor's Fund to raise money for good causes and local organisations, however the main beneficiary will be the Verwood Concert Brass, a jewel in our crown.
I hope you all have a wonderful summer.

We are a small town in Dorset on the edge of the New Forest and close to Bournemouth and Poole. We are happy to be able to live in a community in which people greet and watch out for each other.
